Saturday Morning Miniblog Update – T-shirts, Ben Goldacre and Maize

Every Saturday morning, I plan on filling you in on the week’s goings-on at Homologous Legs Mini, this site’s miniblog, where news items that are too long for Twitter, yet too short for the main blog, are posted.

This is the first of such updates, and as you will clearly see if you check out the stories, it encompasses a bit more than this week’s postings – this is because I’ve been fairly busy for a while and haven’t had the chance to start up the Miniblog Update schedule.

Anyway, starting off:

- Charles Darwin T-shirt design by Hirsute History (I have to get this!)

- Stephen C. Meyer cracks Science Best Seller List on Amazon (This is the news item that inspired this site’s latest article.)

- Maize genome sequenced at last (Who doesn’t love more genome sequencing?)

- Ben Goldacre is Rathergood-ed (A video that should make every fan of Ben Goldacre smile at least a little bit.)

- Xenu Airlines T-shirt design by Teach the Controversy (Another great design by Jeremy Kalgreen.)

- Internet addiction in teenagers correlates with self-injury (Never fear – I appear to be a statistical anomaly.)

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.
