Reed Braden, formerly of the blog Homosecular Gaytheist, has started a new project – The Gaytheists. This new group blog will be specifically for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning/Queer) atheists, skeptics and humanists.
It will draw on the writing prowess of:
- Reen Braden (of course)
- Derek Rogers (from the Dalhousie Atheist Community, interviewed on Episode 18 of the Pseudo Scientists podcast)
- Greta Christina (from Greta Christina’s Blog)
- Jason Ball (from the Young Australian Skeptics)
- Jessica Sideways (from The Adventures of Jessica Sideways)
- Jacquie O’Godless (from The Daily Profaner)
- Cassie Scull (from Teen Skepchick)
I’m a big fan of all of the contributors I know, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the ones I am not familiar with.
So, bookmark away, add their RSS feed to your news reader, and enjoy The Gaytheists! I know I will.

Jacquie O’Godless has an e at the end of her first name. She was one of the co-founders of the short-lived but hilariously snarky Daily Profaner. http://thedailyprofaner.com/author/jacquie/
Also, thanks a ton for the plug. Keep being awesomesauce.
No problems. It's your new main project – it deserves plugging!
Yeah, I have to say thanks for the plug, hun. I'm looking forward to all that this project has to offer for the atheist readers, gay or straight – cisgendered or transgendered, and the gay community, straight community or just the community at large.
